Dog-Leg

Dog Leg is a classic risk-and-reward par 4 that presents players with an important decision from the tee. The hole bends to the left, with fairway bunkers either side of the fairway at the corner of the dog-leg creating a clear strategic choice. The safer option is to play to the right of the bunkers, leaving a longer approach into the green. More adventurous players may choose to take the bunkers on and favour the left-hand side, gaining valuable distance and a shorter approach, but this line brings the ditch running the entire length of the left side of the hole firmly into play. Whichever route is chosen, the approach shot demands accuracy. The green is protected by bunkers positioned at both the front left and front right, narrowing the entrance and placing a premium on a well-struck iron shot.
